The 12-core, 2.5 sq mm copper armoured multistrand control cable is designed for industrial control and instrumentation applications. It consists of 12 high-conductivity stranded copper conductors, each with a cross-sectional area of 2.5 sq mm, insulated with XLPE (Cross-Linked Polyethylene) for excellent thermal and electrical performance. The insulated cores are covered with a PVC inner sheath, and the cable is protected by galvanised steel wire or strip armouring, depending on the variant, to provide mechanical strength. A durable PVC outer sheath ensures resistance to moisture, abrasion, and chemicals. The cable is rated for 650/1100 V, supports continuous operation at 90 °C, and can withstand short-circuit temperatures up to 250 °C. It conforms to IS 7098-1, IS 8130, and IS 3975 standards. This cable is suitable for control panels, industrial automation, machinery wiring, and low-voltage control circuits, providing reliable performance in harsh industrial environments.
